Education is available for all. It’s just a matter of whether one has access to it or not.

We learn everyday. Some learn and receive knowledge from school, others at home, and some others just by interacting with people, places and things they see, feel, touch and taste everyday. So how can we, as future educators, provide ALL our students and learners of the 21st century with the best educational experience?

By making education accessible to all. And how? Through technology.

Not only me, but people like Professor Stephen Heppell and University Lecturer and Music Educator, James Humberstone have stepped up to advocate for technology within education.

As part of my Technology in Education course at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, for the next couple of weeks, I will be working on a educational technology based project that supports free accessibility of education to all students.

My aim is to create an accessible resource database for all students to learn and use FreeWare based technologies online and offline with browser-based applications, and on BYOD applications.
